Studio
Alpine Wool Arts is a textile studio creating hand-hooked wool objects shaped by landscape, material, and time.
Each collection belongs to a mark — a named body of work grounded in place, pattern, or belonging.
Pieces are produced in limited quantities using natural wool selected for depth and durability. Subtle variation reflects the pace of hand process.
The studio works slowly and intentionally, maintaining continuity across collections.
Edition & Production
Alpine Wool Arts collections are produced in limited quantities. Some works are released in small batches; others continue in restrained series as materials allow.
Each piece is hand-hooked in natural wool with attention to proportion, durability, and clarity of form. Variations from piece to piece are inherent to the process and considered part of the work’s character.
Production timelines reflect the deliberate pace of the studio. Availability evolves as collections develop.
Stewardship
At Alpine Wool Arts, stewardship is our way of working.
Alpine Wool Arts partners with the National Forest Foundation through the Sapling Program, dedicating a portion of proceeds to the long-term care and restoration of National Forests. These efforts support wildlife habitat, strengthen watersheds, and assist forestlands recovering from wildfires and environmental disruption.
Across the collections;
• Nordmark reflects restraint shaped by northern terrain.
• Timbermark honors forest life responsibility for representing living forms with clarity.
• Meadowmark responds to open land through repetition and growth.
• Hemmark considers stewardship inwardly — through care for home and continuity.
Stewardship remains a steady commitment — to material, to landscape, and to longevity.
